grant dunlop
Grant studied architecture at both graduate and post-graduate levels at Deakin University and was heavily involved with practice related research activities. During this time he worked on a number of challenging projects exploring the potential of a digitally crafted architecture. The knowledge and skills developed gained through these projects was then transferred across to conventional architectural practice.
Grant has worked for a number of local and international architectural practices in varying roles and capacities. The work has been across all scales from highly detailed residential projects through to large scale speculative competitions and masterplans.
In the past Grant has lived and worked for extended periods of time in both Germany and Japan and has also worked across a wide range of disciplines from product, furniture and graphic design.
spare time
after hours
Grant divides what little time is left after work and family commitments by practising the lost craft of whittling and re-learning the dying art of book reading.
